FACULTIES AND DEPARTMENTS
The college has well established Science and Arts faculties and numerous vocational courses leading to graduate and post graduate degrees. In addition to these courses, departments also offer job-oriented certificate and advanced diploma courses viz. Electrical equipment maintainance, tissue culture, environmental audit, functional english, Korean language. Number of teachers working at present is 106 and number of students intake per year is around 5000 for various courses. Many major and minor projects of UGC , DST , DBT, UNICEF etc. have also been undertaken. The college has tie-ups with international universities such as Griffith University Australia and Kangwan National University South Korea.

Geography
The Department of Geography was established in 1985, in the "Old Administration Block". It imparts teaching at graduate and post graduate levels. The courses aim to integrate geographical skills with decision making processes, by correlating changing landscape and environment with human activities, through its well equipped lab and library. It is pioneering collaborative inter-departmental, national and international research activities on emerging geographical issues like natural resources and climate change.
Public Administration
The Department of Public Administration was established in the year 1985. The department is housed in the "Old Administration Block". It imparts Post graduate Degree in Public Administration.The department also facilitates researches and has a well stocked library.
