FACULTIES AND DEPARTMENTS
The college has well established Science and Arts faculties and numerous vocational courses leading to graduate and post graduate degrees. In addition to these courses, departments also offer job-oriented certificate and advanced diploma courses viz. Electrical equipment maintainance, tissue culture, environmental audit, functional english, Korean language. Number of teachers working at present is 106 and number of students intake per year is around 5000 for various courses. Many major and minor projects of UGC , DST , DBT, UNICEF etc. have also been undertaken. The college has tie-ups with international universities such as Griffith University Australia and Kangwan National University South Korea.

Environment and Water Management
Department of Environment and Water Management was established in 1996 sponsored by UGC, New Delhi. The department is housed on the ground floor of "Technical Block". The department has well equipped laboratories in hydrology microbiology etc. and imparts three year degree honours course. It is also associated with active research in the field of Water quality, particularly Arsenic, Nitrate and Fluoride.
Biotechnology
Department of Biotechnology was established in the year 2004 on first floor of "Biology Block" with a vision to attain excellence in education and research. At present the department has five well-equipped laboratories in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Tissue culture, Instrumentation and Computer. It imparts Three Year Degree Course, Post Graduate Course and Certificate course in Tissue Culture and it is associated with active research in the field of Microbiology, Tissue culture and Microbiology. Facilities of the department also serve external bodies and individuals in Project Work.

Business Administration
In 1998 the bachelor of Business Management course was started at the first floor of "Shatabdi bhawan". Later, in the year 2004 the Master of Business Administration course was introduced. The Department of Business Management has an excellent placement record in last five years.
Computer Applications
In 1998 the bachelor of Computer Application course was started at the first floor of "Shatabdi bhawan". Later, in the year 2004 the Master of Computer Applications course was introduced. The Department of Computer Application now runs in the ground floor of "Shatabdi Bhawan". The department houses two computer labs with latest "intel" based computer systems and Broadband Internet connection. The department is also associated with active research in the field of computer science.
