ANUGRAH NARAYAN COLLEGE, PATNA is a
constituent unit of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya .It was established
in the year 1956 and is situated in the capital city of Bihar. Since
then, this institution has developed from strength-to-strength. It
is one of the premier co-educational institutions of the state of
Bihar imparting teaching to almost Nine thousand students and is
serving the cause of education in different ways.
The College is presently imparting
teaching in 21 UG and 22 PG Subjects. After consolidating its
academic achievements in the fields of Physical Sciences, Social
Sciences and Humanities, the institution embarked upon a new venture
in the direction of vocationalisation and job-oriented
education.
STATUS OF THE COLLEGE:-
The College
is registered under 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act and is receiving
regular grants from the UGC since Fifth Plan period. Hence, the
College strictly observes the UGC norms and guidelines in the
academic matters.
LAND & BUILDING:-
The
institution has its own campus spread over land of 13 acres. It has
constructed 13 large buildings for academic purposes. The college
has a very strong in-built infrastructure to sustain the impact of
growth, development and academic diversification. With its sprawling
lawns, gardens, playgrounds, Common Room, Canteen, Reading Rooms and
Library, the institution provides all types of facilities to the
students for all round development of their personalities.
